Celebrific Procrastination.

I was given much work to do the other day but didn't feel like doing it because of the normal distractions that compel one working on the internet. By normal, I mean Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and other social networks. I was busy in my "other" work when my friend and also my boss for that particular task popped up in the chat box. The conversation we had is as below:

Friend (F): Hey!
Me (M): Oh hai..
F: So is the report ready?
M: Nmm...no. I am occupied in other stuff actually...
F: And that is...?
M: Err...You know what? I am chatting with Ian Somerhalder right now!
Ian Somerhalder
F: OMG! He is your current celebrity crush, right?
M: Hehe yesss.
F: How are you chatting with him?
M: Oh I subscribed to him on facebook.
F: Ohh. Hm... So err.. how is the report coming along?
M: Don't worry, I will get it done.
F: Can I subscribe to him also?
M: Haha of course you can! Why are you even asking me?
F: Wow can I chat with him too????
M: Yes, go ahead. But he doesn't reply to just everyone. He probably won't reply to you.
F: Why won't he reply to me?
M: He does't reply to nobodys I guess.
F: Wow that was pretty rude. Ho can you even say like that to me?
M: I just said it.
F: So this is what you do? Get something you want and leave the others who are true to you??
M: What does that even mean?
F: I am saying, that you never value people who are actually around you! You just go towards the shinning stars and forget the ones who were always there to help you shine!!
M: Who did I forget?
F: ME!
M: Err...
F: Look, you said that you are chatting with Ian Somerhalder.
M: Yes...?
F: And you said that he doesn't talk to just everybody.
M: That's right.
F: HOW THE HELL IS HE REPLYING TO YOU AND NOT ME?
M: Actually...he never replied.
F: ...

Quenching the thirst for blood.

The first thing that comes in our minds when we speak of blood and thirst together, are the mythical creatures (who in this era, sparkle in the sun) or the poor nocturnal mammals (who Bruce Wayne is very fond of) or, of course, the sloppy parasites (that can be found in our gardens). In reality, these creatures, some in a mythical way, others according to their nature require blood to extinguish their appetite.

Human beings, who are said to be the most intelligent of all the organisms have developed many comforts and luxuries for themselves and for the generations to come. But this race, our race, can be divided into two completely separate parts: one, who work for the benefit of the others; two, whose thirst for the human blood can never be quenched.

Throwing light on the dark side, yes on the blood thirsty people, it is very intriguing to know that these people either 1) kill other people who are like hurdles in their evil errands,2) for some sort of vendetta, 3) for cannibalism purposes or 4)for no reason at all!

Assassinations and murders are so common these days that the news through different media is never complete without the news of someone's death by someones hands. I and you (hopefully ;) ), who are form the first part of the world take the news of a fellow human being's murder very casually, unless it is of someone we know. Our minds have become immune to to the news of brutal killings that are being done on our planet, all the time and even right now as you are reading this blog. This thought does not even send a shudder down our spines because we have made our selves believe that this is a fish eat fish world.

Can not our human race live in peace and harmony, letting each other live their own free way? Is it necessary to take the life of a person to clear one's own way? Can not another path be taken? Will the innocent be killed as if they never existed? These questions are not new and are constantly taken in a rhetorical manner because despite of knowing the answers deep down inside, we do not know how to phrase them.
